| It has been a long time since i blogged. Not because i didn't feel like doing so but i was really too busy with work~
Quick Updates:
After Ottawa, it was work-work-work...every day and night...
July, there was a trip to US (for work) but the schedule was like hell. So we can forget about it. But I really want to apologize to Win, 'cos didn't manage to get her laptop sleeve and also to Pam, 'cos my day trip to NYC was really to short. Rarely had time for photographs. On a personal level, the trip was a first for me (in a lot of areas) I will never forget it (for various reasons).
More work... . . . Now
Last Month, I did my first 10Km run (SBR & AHM) and I did it in 1hr 8min. I would say it pretty good considering I only started my weekly runs in August.
My Current target is to complete 10Km in 1hr. I hope to achieve that during the GE-run. *Yeah*
Also, managed to resolved something with a good friend of mine. We made up and I am really happy about that. =D
Recently as NC shared more with me, I also start to drop my pace of work a little to squeeze more time for myself. And after a very long time, I visited the National Library again. (As T does not like library book - too much germs-, i have reduced my visits to one of my fave place.) It was on a Saturday and naturally the library was crowded with students. Looking at them reminds me of the time i spent in the library.. Back then, almost every book i read was a textbook and every stack of paper was either lecture notes or tutorials.
Now, I am reading whatever I want to read. Social politics, history, religion, self-improvement, cooking, the freedom to choose anything i want was so sweet.
I really hope i can squeeze more time to appreciate the simple happiness of life.

| Finally.....I am now in OTTTAW. It was Narita-Detroit-Ottawa. the frost on my 13hr flight to Detroit. Was at Detroit for 7 long hours. the place is not very big, but they got this Express Tram thing (like T1 to T2) and the singing tunnel. By the time i land in OTTAWA, it was night-dark, very, very u-loo and very, very cold. Woke up at 7am, Eastern Time. Jet-Lagged. View out of my room window.
dom taking a photo for boss

Dom and his 4 liter of water.
If not for the fact that that this place looks like winter-wonderland; all nice and white, I would be cursing and swearing cos the place is freezing cold. Another thing, today is my only play day in Ottawa and its Easter Sunday. EVERYWHERE IS CLOSED!!!!! So, after getting microwave food from this department store that is like 20 min of trekking away. Think I'll just stay indoors. Feel damn handicapped cos we got no car. *Bored*
| They never fail to bring laughter and joy to me. This time the topic is about our country's history. Sounds like some boring topic but I liked the way they did it. Admiral Zheng Ho "Ching" and Temasek, Sang Nila being a mama's boy, Powerful-ly,... The best is when Pam Oei came out as the parking attendant, without fail. I'm really glad Hossan got more parts this time cos he is so cute... in a funny way.
AirShow Really really cool. I'm so impressed with the Black Knights, I now have their collar pin and poster. After that show, I want to learn flying too. All thanks to this job, I get to go there free and eat for free too. Hahaha.....Next time I'll remember to bring my camera. XD
| Esplanade + Ah Yue + Free9 + MC Hotdog = MADNESS I was really surprised when I walked into the concert hall, I've totally forgotten then it was all acoustically constructed for the best music experience. (It was my first time inside.) The grandness and class somehow clashes with their style but they totally made the place their own. I was wondering if Ah-yue would come out in a suit or tux? Nay. As its "unplugged", they were as comfortably dress as usual and I must say the way they rearranged the songs were fantastic... 微风香水 very good. 分手吧 all jazzed up. 爱的初体验 was cute.一开始就没退路 was such a nice song that I had forgotten and very nicely arranged into a jazzy impromptu piece. 秘密 was also very much missed and well done. 我给的爱, Bye-Bye, plus almost all the songs from OK album. 爱我别走 ended the show. Oh, OK album very good!!!! MC Hotdog was as usual...就让这首歌 was very very nice. when he came out, a fan seated in the first row stood up and she unrolled this mahjong paper with a big bold red 站 on it and flashed it to everyone behind her. The entire hall gave a loud cheer and 90% of the crowd seated in the stall section stood up. I mean, when you have been to a few rock concert you realise that s'porean really got heavy butts. Or else you wonder why they even bother coming, maybe the tix they got were free. Even if they were free, please next time give them to pple who would actually appreciate. "toh-long toh-long ah." Free9 was also very cute...the keyboardist was from LuoKeBan, he sounded pretty nice cos he sang Harlem Yu's 靠近. Then Ah-yue's agent made fun of Taiwan Hottest Band, whom they refuse to name and he imitated them by singing X明与X娇. Very fun..... met Robin and Zhenmin. The only downside is that they didn't do a lot older songs. Lesson Learnt: Always get cat 1 for concerts. I mean for the proximity to the stage, the price you pay for a cat 1 for this kind of slow-rock "unplugged" concert is really cheap. *regret...dint get cat 1* Lastly, had a silly argument with T. So I want to apologize to him. Sorry Honey... Next up; , MOSAIC Music Festival 2008 , Canada ,

| My first musical of the year: Shanghai Blues I mean there must be a reason why i seldom catch mandarin musicals and now I know. I cant stand the cheesy feeling...my goosebumps were up thru' the play. But don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the play very much. William So was really good...Emma Yong sounds really good too but Mindy Ong was not strong enough vocally. Maybe, its her vocal range plus the fact that her parts were tougher. They all look so sexy in cheongsum..I should get one before i grow fatter.haha.. A pity the play is only on for 3 shows during this Hauyi festival.
Work is Ok.....A lot of thing needs to be done but most of the time I can't understand 75% of what they are talking about. Plenty of catching up to do...starting with ranks....units....equipments.... *argh....*
